The Story

The Story

Afew years ago, it dawned on me that the last ten years of my life had really flown by. Raising my children, taking care of our young family and our home while my husband grew our business, meant life had been very busy. Then all of a sudden you stop and realise the last ten years of your life have gone by.

Have I achieved all I wanted to by now? Am I doing what really makes me happy? If I could change things what would they be?

All of these questions started to play over in my mind.

I set about trying to find somewhere I could go where I might be able to draw some inspiration and skills. A conference, maybe a weekend retreat, or some sort of course that would help me to clarify things. To help me make some decisions. What do I want to do? How do I want to live my life? What am I really passionate about?

Well I wanted to go to someone or somewhere that would help to inspire me. I have always drawn strength and motivation from inspirational people, but how can you get to them? Where can you go that will give you the opportunity to hear them? Who's worth listening too? Am I going to need more than one person to help me with this?

I couldn't find anywhere. That's when it came to me, how great would it be to be able to attend a conference here in New Zealand for Women, about Women on how we can live great lives?

How exciting is that? To be able to join together with friends, other like-minded women, for a day of inspiration. To hear from those who have been there and done it. Those that have climbed the mountains in life and achieved great things, the people we always look at and think how did they do it.

Hence the New Zealand Women's Conference was born. After much planning and organising, the inaugural conference was run on 28th May 2011 to a sell out crowd of excited women. Everyone had a great time and it inspired me to make it an annual event.

So that's what I am doing for the women of New Zealand for one day each year. How much fun is that! A day of Inspiration for all, from the cleverest people I know.  You won't want to miss this.

This is it, a time for change. Or, if you are not yet ready for change, then its a time start thinking about it.

So what’s your biggest challenge? Loosing weight? Finding life balance? Starting a new business? Overcoming a fear? Getting a new job? Running a marathon?

What are you waiting for?
